A Discord profile capture displays UI-Tom, the username ui_tom, a June 27, 2022 member-since date, and a visible Ubiquiti Employee role. The timing places the employee-tagged persona in the server during the same month as Hildebrand's public Ubiquiti start date.

SuddenlyEngineer replies “THIS IS UNOFFICIAL” beneath Discord's notice that the referenced message was deleted. The capture verifies the speaker, wording, and date while leaving the missing parent message and the precise subject of the reply unresolved.
HackerOne publicly displays Thomas Hildebrand with the username suddenlyengineer and visible activity involving Ubiquiti Inc. It is the strongest direct name-to-username link in the identity file because the name and handle appear together on one platform profile.
An r/Ubiquiti moderator-list screenshot places u/Suddenly_Engineer on the team from December 18, 2023 and lists authority over users, configuration, flair, mail, posts and comments, and the wiki. The capture establishes the scope of the role at that moment, not the author of any individual action.

A public r/Ubiquiti comment shows u/Suddenly_Engineer discussing direct experience with Ubiquiti support and a network configuration. It documents the account's ordinary participation in the community rather than a moderation action.
A public r/Ubiquiti page is marked “Removed by moderator.” In the surviving Russia-related discussion, Suddenly_Engineer answers “Where are the mods?” in the first-person plural: “Trying to clean this up as best we can. It just doesn’t end.”
A second Russia-related r/Ubiquiti page carries Reddit's “Removed by moderator” notice. In the surviving discussion, Suddenly_Engineer appears with a Moderator label and tells the poster, “Holy fuck please stop spamming the sub.” The action and intervention are visible together even though the internal removal log is not.
In a thread about reported Ubiquiti camera and router vulnerabilities, Reddit labels Suddenly_Engineer as a moderator. The account directs readers to a Ubiquiti representative's response, says the researchers were “doing it entirely wrong,” and presents the issue as “a non-issue.”
In a locked r/Ubiquiti thread about Ubiquiti World Conference posts, moderator cpr0mpt-cmd says the team receives requests from Ubiquiti legal to lock material. The exchange directly documents a route through which company requests influenced decisions in a community described as unofficial.
A later r/Ubiquiti page survives with its title and body replaced by [Removed]. The remaining comments concern UWC material and the treatment of unreleased-product posts, showing that the earlier conference-moderation dispute continued beyond the October 2024 thread.
Fifteen captures preserve the r/Ubiquiti discussion beneath Jon's UI-Tom removal announcement. LifeChange0900 and prisonerofmemewar each posted this investigation in a different reply branch; later captures show both link-bearing comments replaced by Reddit's notice, “Comment removed by moderator.”
A Discord direct-message capture preserves the prepublication request for comment, context, and factual corrections, followed by the platform notice that the message could not be delivered. The failed delivery documents the outreach attempt without converting it into a refusal to respond.
