Substantive changes remain visible so a reader can understand how the reporting developed. Each entry identifies the affected material, the evidentiary reason for the revision, and the page where the corrected account now appears. Copyediting and stylistic revisions that leave facts, meaning, evidence classifications, and conclusions unchanged are not added to this log.
Source files are never silently replaced.
Changes to evidence classification or a factual conclusion are recorded.
Typography, grammar, and stylistic editing do not require an entry.

R-007 expanded from fourteen to fifteen captures after a second moderator removal was documented.
An earlier capture showed LifeChange0900 posting the investigation link; the new capture preserves the same account position and replies with “Comment removed by moderator” replacing the link-bearing text. Together with the separately documented prisonerofmemewar removal, the record now supports the publication’s labeled conclusion that moderators were actively suppressing the investigation link. The acting moderator or moderators remain unidentified.
R-007 added as a consolidated 14-capture record of the Reddit response thread.
The record preserves two appearances of the investigation link, the community debate, the § 255.5 arguments and counterarguments, and a before-and-after sequence connecting prisonerofmemewar’s link-bearing comment to Reddit’s later “Comment removed by moderator” notice. The site identifies neither an individual moderator nor an undocumented motive.
D-010 expanded to preserve the community’s federal disclosure concern.
Several participants questioned the undisclosed employment relationship and its effect on trust. One participant expressly cited 16 CFR § 255.5 after alleging that SuddenlyEngineer promoted Ubiquiti products without disclosing the employment connection. The publication records the question and the moderators’ response, while distinguishing it from a legal or agency finding.
Corrected the response-thread role labels: Jon is identified as the server owner, spot/t.c.o.a. as a Discord moderator, and Nevyn is no longer described as a former moderator or server owner.
The earlier wording assigned Nevyn roles the publisher says were inaccurate. The exact “we all laughed our asses off” statement from spot/t.c.o.a. was also elevated on the homepage and response pages so the moderator’s admission is not buried in the longer transcript.

The export records prior moderator knowledge, the decision to retain Tom through separate accounts, community questions about disclosure, and dismissive or degrading replies from moderator or administrator speakers. Exact quotations are separated from editorial assessment, and the supplied role attribution is identified as such.
D-009 and M-002 added; the investigation now records Tom’s removal from the Reddit and Discord moderator teams and his public response.
Both communities announced the removal. SuddenlyEngineer agreed that he should have stepped down years earlier and acknowledged that retaining moderation privileges undermined community trust. The publication’s central demand is now marked satisfied; the remaining governance requests are retained.
